During the 83rd Congress of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) held in Antalya, Turkey, Natalia Bulanova, the Technical Director of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, was elected as a member of the FIG's Technical Committee for Rhythmic Gymnastics for the first time in our country's gymnastics history. Baku hosted the 35th World Championship in Trampoline and Tumbling for the first time. At the championship, Azerbaijan's representative Mikhail Malkin won a Silver Medal. For the first time, the 28th World Age Group Championships in Trampoline gymnastics, Tumbling and double mini-trampoline were held in our capital. The competition saw Mahsudov won the individual Trampoline competition in the 13-14 age category.
