Members of the Azerbaijani National Team in group exercises, which won the “Gold” with 5 Hoops and the “Silver” in the All-Around competitions at the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku, shared their impression on the event with the Press Service of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF).
Zeynab Hummatova, a member of our National Team, emphasized that they performed successfully and justified the expectations within the home walls. “This is our first international competition in 2022. Demonstration of performance within the home walls doubles our responsibility. Consequently, we were a little bit excited. We prepared well for this competition together with all members of our team, both physically and psychologically. Therefore, we managed to perform well. We express our gratitude to the AGF Authority, our coaches, doctors and everyone who supported us during the preparation process for the event. This is the success of each of us” - added Zeynab Hummatova.
Another member of our National Team - Gullu Aghalarzade agreed with the opinion of her teammate: “I agree with Zeynab's opinion. It is more exciting to perform within the home walls. In the new season, we performed according to the new Code of Points. No matter that it was our first international competition this year, we managed to win medals. Our composition was very hard. It is gratifying that we managed to perform successfully”.
