The Bronze medalist of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup and member of the Azerbaijani National Team - Nikita Simonov shared his impressions on winning medal with the Press Service of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation.
The World Cup in Baku is the fourth series of this season and therefore it was a bit difficult. There were some minor faults in the execution of my routine, but, in general, I am content with my performance. I participated in four series and reached the finals in all of them. Now, there are new Code of Points, combinations are being restructured and changed. I will work hard on them and prepare for the World Championships. The organization of such major competitions in Azerbaijan is of great importance in terms of gaining experience for young athletes. Children work hard, they follow the example of senior gymnasts, and, in our turn, we guide them. Baku has very good conditions, halls, all kinds of opportunities for the development of sports.
