The Press Service of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) presents an interview with the coach of the Japanese National Team in Rhythmic Gymnastics - Sayuri Sugimoto, who visited our country for a training camp.
- You are welcome to Azerbaijan. How many gymnasts of your National Team are taking part in the training camp?
- 5 members of our team in group exercises participate in the trainings.
- As far as we know, you are preparing for the upcoming World Cup here.
- Our athletes performed in Sofia (Bulgaria) at the World Cup. Later, they were scheduled to participate in Baku at the World Cup. We also decided to come to Baku after Sofia and continue our trainings here.
- What result do you expect at this competition?
- I hope that the members of our team will successfully take part in the World Cup. I believe that they will demonstrate their programs really well.
- What are your impressions on Baku?
- This is my 7th visit to Azerbaijan. Baku is very beautiful and clean. The night view of Baku is especially magnificent.
- We would like to know your thoughts on Azerbaijani gymnasts.
Azerbaijani gymnasts have very high artistry and dancing skills. We would also like the members of our team to have these qualities.
