On June 17 & 18, there will start 1st Baku Gym For All International Challenge, dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev for the first time.
Up to 500 athletes within 47 teams representing Azerbaijan, Georgia & Lithuania will demonstrate their performances at the International “Challenge” to be held at Baku Boulevard (behind the Azerbaijan State Puppet Theatre).
Along with the capital, athletes from 20 regions of our country will test their strength at this “Challenge”.
Residents of the social service institution for the elderly of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population as well as the mixed-type orphanage named after O. Mirzayev of Lankaran city will participate in the event for the first time.
On June 10, there were held open rehearsals for the residents of the social service institution for the elderly of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.
Elderly people presented their programs and shared their impressions on the preparation for the competition at the trainings led by Head Coach in Gymnastics for All, Ruslan Eyvazov & the team’s Coach - Rana Manafova.
It should be mentioned that 7 residents of the social service institution will participate in the “Challenge” within the team called “Youths of the 70’s”.
Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) holds trainings in Gymnastics for All at the mentioned social service institution within the framework of the “Sport for All” project of the Ministry of Youth & Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
