Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) has launched the registration for the requirement of volunteers under the “We love Gymnastics” volunteering program connected with the organization of the international competitions in Gymnastics disciplines to be held in Baku in 2024.
The selected volunteers will be involved in the organizational work of several international & national competitions to be held in our capital during 2024. It will give them an opportunity to develop their language skills, gain experience and new knowledge in the field of organizing sports events.
For the purpose of efficient organization of the volunteers’ activity during the competitions, there will be held trainings on organization of Gymnastics competitions, its running rules and general training on the essence of Gymnastics at “Milli Gimnastika Arenasi” (National Gymnastics Arena).
At the international competitions organized by AGF, volunteers will be involved in various departments of the Local Organizing Committee. This includes the Administration of competitions, Media, Accreditation, Spectators’ services, Translation, Sports Presentations, Transport, Accommodation & etc.
In 2024, Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in the 8th Open Azerbaijan Championship and Open Baku Championships among Age Categories in Trampoline Gymnastics (February 15 & 16), FIG Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling World Cup (February 23-25), FIG Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup (March 7-10), AGF Trophy International Tournament in Artistic Gymnastics (March 15-17), FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup (April 19-21), European Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics (May 3-5), 2nd Baku Gym For All International Challenge (June 1 & 2), European Championships in “TeamGym” (October 16-19).
