“BRONZE” FROM RIESA

A women’s pair of Azerbaijani acrobats Aynur Huseynova – Narmin Ramazanova - has become the bronze medalist of the traditional international tournament held in German Riesa City.

According to the press service of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, following the execution of balance and tempo combinations in the qualification, our duet had been taking the second place after the floor’s hostesses. The final day corrected the situation with mistakes made by West German pair a day before. As a result, the guests from the Caspian Sea were moved to the bronze place.

In general, the national team’s head coach Irada Gurbanova is content with the results of her sportswomen but not with their performances. According to her, the girls could have maintained a start position but lack of experience had its impact.

The second women’s pair Lala Huseynova – Khoshgadam Guliyeva competing in this group took the 6th place among the 9 teams losing to acrobats from Kazakhstan and to the third duet from Germany.
