The International Tournament in Rhythmic Gymnastics has started

The AGF Trophy International Tournament in Rhythmic Gymnastics has officially started at the National Gymnastics Arena. The competition, which will last for three days, brings together representatives from 16 countries. Gymnasts compete in both individual programs Ribbon, Ball, Hoop and Clubs as well as in group exercises across Junior and Senior Age categories.

Azerbaijan is represented in both age categories in both individual and group exercises. The national team includes three medalists from the European Championships held in Budapest Fidan Gurbanli, Shams Agahuseynova and Govhar Ibrahimova. Notably, this tournament marks Govhar’s debut in the Junior category.

On the first day of the competition, spectators witnessed stunning performances executed with grace and mastery. A total of 68 individual gymnasts and 14 group exercise teams are taking part in the tournament.
