Our athlete participates in an online gymnastics competition

Throughout March and April, European Gymnastics hosted a series of online competitions for men's artistic gymnastics. These sporting events were organized through the “Elevien” online platform. Elevien is a digital gymnastics platform that enables online gymnastics competitions. Gymnasts and judges can join the competition from anywhere in Europe.

According to the competition format, gymnasts record their routines via mobile phone on the platform, and the recorded practice is automatically sent to the judging panel. After the final scores are determined, the gymnast's results are included in the rankings for the events they participated in.

On April 13, our national team member Rasul Ahmadzada also participated in one of these competitions. He showcased his skills in two programs: floor exercise and vault. Our gymnast scored 10.866 points in the floor exercise and 11.666 points in the vault program. Based on the judges' scores, he placed 16th and 21st, respectively.

It is important to note that, according to the rules, gymnasts over the age of 18 can participate in the competition and register for one or multiple apparatus. Additionally, the format of the event allows an unlimited number of spectators worldwide to watch this gymnastics competition.
