From April 14 to 16, the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup was held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. Azerbaijan was represented at the competition by members of the national rhythmic gymnastics team, including individual gymnasts Kamilla Seyidzade and Ilona Zeynalova, as well as the second group team consisting of Sakina Ibrahimbeyli, Nargiz Ramazanova, Fatima Mammadzada, Zahra Pashazade, Fidan Yusifzada, and Leyla Aliyeva. The best result came from our group team. After successfully qualifying, our gymnasts competed in two apparatus finals (5 hoops and 3 ribbons + 2 balls). In the routine with three ribbons and two balls, the team secured 4th place with a score of 25.700, outperforming teams from Uzbekistan, Australia, Turkey, and Estonia. In the 5 hoops final, our representatives placed 5th, surpassing teams such as Finland, Australia, and Turkey. In the all-around competition, the team also finished in 4th place. It should be noted that the same team had previously placed 6th in the finals of the World Cup held in March in Paleo Faliro, Greece.
