From March 29 to April 2, the city of Antalya, Turkey hosted the World Championship for Junior Artistic Gymnastics.

The Antalya Gymnastics Hall, where 300 of the strongest young gymnasts from 65 countries gathered, was the venue for an intense competition for the coveted championship title. Azerbaijan was represented by the following athletes: in the men's category, Rasul Ahmadzada and Anar Hasanov, and in the women's category, Daniz Aliyeva, Duygu Majidza and Aytan Mammadova.

In the championship, the athletes competed in individual apparatus events, all-around, and team competitions.

It is worth noting that our young gymnasts, who experienced the excitement of their first World Championship, performed their routines in various apparatus events during the qualification round.

Next, our senior gymnasts will compete in the European Championship, which will take place in the same city, Antalya, from April 11 to 16.
