The members of our Rhythmic Gymnastics National Team also performed at the 8th “Children of Asia” International Sports Games held in the Russian city of Yakutsk on June 25 - July 6, where 80 athletes represented our country in 16 sports disciplines. Our Junior gymnasts in the Individual program - Shams Aghahuseynova & Sofia Mammadova took part in the competition. Among them, Shams Aghahuseynova showed the best result with her performance with a Ribbon. She qualified for the Final and ranked 7th (29.200).  
This traditional sports event with the participation of Pre-juniors & Juniors is a good opportunity for athletes from the mentioned Age Groups to gain experience. We believe that the experience gained by our athletes by performing in another big arena will help them to succeed in future competitions.
