On March 31 - April 3, “Milli Gimnastika Arenasi” (National Gymnastics Arena) hosted another major competition - the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup.
145 gymnasts from 34 countries competed in the 4th international competition organized in our country this year.  
The World Cup was remembered with the Bronze medal of the Azerbaijani representative - Nikita Simonov. Our gymnast reached the final with confident performance by successfully executing his exercise on Rings and took the 3rd place with 14,500 points. On March, our athlete repeated his success in Baku at the World Cup.
At the end of the competition, three best results out of 4 defined the holders of the FIG Cup in separate Apparatus among Men and Women, as well as the traditional “AGF Trophy” presented to the gymnasts who received the highest execution score. We congratulate all the winners and prize-winners of the competition and wish them success in their future endeavors.
