An Azerbaijani gymnast Elvin Aghadadayev took the 4th place at the XI European Youth Olympic Festival held in Turkish Trabzon. According to the press service of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, having demonstrated a performance only on one apparatus - pommel horse - in the qualification, our gymnast reached the final from the 8th place. In the final, Elvin received 12.775 points losing the bronze medal to a Belgian gymnast Maxim Gentges with 0.5 point breakaway. Vasiliy Mikhalitsin from Belarus became the champion and Sergey Stepanov from Russia was the vice-champion. The second gymnast from the Azerbaijani team, Ruslan Balakishiyev, performed in the tournament’s all-around where took the 72nd place with a 69.3 points.
