On January 9, the Ministry of Youth and Sports held a gala ceremony dedicated to the “2024 Year in Review.”
The event brought together leaders of sports organizations, federations, media outlets, athletes, coaches, and representatives of the sports community.

During the ceremony, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov, highlighted that 2024 was a successful year for Azerbaijani sports. He extended his congratulations to the heads of federations, athletes, coaches, and the sports community.

The event also featured an award ceremony for the year’s winners in various categories, determined through a three-stage survey.

1st Place - Rhythmic Gymnastics Group Team

Best Female Coach
1st Place - Siyana Vasileva
It is worth noting that Siyana Vasileva is the only female coach whose team competed in the Olympic finals, achieving 5th place.

2nd Place - Natalya Bulanova

Best Non-Olympic Athletes
1st Place - Agasif Rahimov and Raziya Seyidli

Best National Team Coach (Non-Olympic Disciplines)
