The 2nd day of the 12th FIG Acrobatic Gymnastics World Age Group Competitions in Baku has come to an end.
On the second day of the event, Men’s & Women’s Pairs demonstrated Dynamic exercises and Mixed Pairs & Women’s Groups - Balance exercises in the 12-18th age group. In the age group of 13-19, Balance exercises were performed by our Men’s Pairs & Men`s Groups, while Dynamic exercises were executed by Mixed Pairs.
Azerbaijani representatives within Mixed Pair consisting of Milana Aliyeva & Nizam Khamidulin received 27,100 points from the judges in the Qualifications of Balance exercises. According to the total points (27 points) of Balance and Dynamic exercises, our gymnasts ranked 4th with 54,100 points.
The Azerbaijani Men’s Pair - Rasul Seyidli & Ravan Zeynalli and Women’s Pair - Nazrin Gasimova & Xanim Mammadzada demonstrated Dynamic exercises, while Women’s Group consisting of Leyla Bashirova, Nazrin Farmanova and Mansuma Mammadzada performed Balance exercises at today’s competitions.
It should be mentioned that 438 athletes from 24 countries take part at the events and it will last until March 6. 
Tomorrow, our representatives within Women`s Group – Leyla Bashirova, Nazrin Farmanova & Mansuma Mammadzada will join the competitions in the age group of 13-19-year-old gymnasts.
The events are held without participation of spectators with the special Authorization of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with the current quarantine rules and sanitary-epidemiological requirements applied in our country.
