AZERBAIJAN WINS ONE MORE MEDAL AT THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS

Aliya Garayeva has won one more medal for Azerbaijan in exercises with a ball at the World Championships in rhythmic gymnastics in Moscow. She lost only to two Russian gymnasts – a champion Yevgeniya Kanayeva and Darya Dmitriyeva who won the second place.

An Azerbaijani gymnast was included into the list of eight strong gymnasts at competitions with a ball. She performed after favorites – 2 Russian and 1 Belarusian sportswoman. She managed to surpass a Belarusian gymnast Lyubov Charkashina having received 27.550 points.

Now, the final with a ribbon is being held where the Azerbaijani team’s leader, twice “bronzy” Aliya Garayeva, will take part in.
