Azerbaijani acrobats have won 2 silver medals at the international “Volkov Cup” tournament held in Russian Yaroslavl. According to the press service of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, first, women’s pair consisting of Aynur Huseynova and Narmin Ramazonova was honored with “silver”. After first two exercises (balance and tempo), our duet had confidently been taking the second position in the qualification. And, in the final of a mixed combination, Aynur and Narmin took the second place losing only to Russian acrobats. The participants of the men’s pair – Murad Mammadov and Murad Karimov have come back to Baku with silver medals as well. Russian sportsmen became the winners and the third place was taken by Moldavians in this tournament. As to future events in acrobatics, there will be held the European Championships among age groups in Varna (Bulgaria) at the end of October where the men’s pair – Murad Mammadov and Murad Karimov will take part in.
