Following Azerbaijani Rhythmic gymnasts, our Men`s and Women`s Artistic gymnasts have also qualified for the Tokyo-2020 Olympic Games.

They achieved this success at the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships held in the City of Stuttgart (Germany) on October 4-13.

Our representative in Women`s Artistic Gymnastics – Marina Nekrasova, and Ivan Tikhonov in Men`s Artistic Gymnastics succeeded to qualify for the Olympic Games, having received sufficient scores in the All-Around Qualification.

 It should be emphasized that Marina's qualification for the Olymic Games is the first time in history of Azerbaijani Women`s Artistic Gymnastics, and our athlete will compete in this discipline for the first time at the Olympics to be held in the Japanese capital.

The members of the National Team in Men`s Artistic Gymnastics – Murad Agharzayev and Nikita Simonov also participated in the World  Championships.
