Azerbaijani gymnasts complete International Tournament with 12 medals

The AGF Trophy International Tournament in Rhythmic Gymnastics has ended at the Milli Gimnastika Arenasi (National Gymnastics Arena) in Baku. 
Over three days, our gymnasts secured 12 medals - 3 Gold, 6 Silver and 3 Bronze.
In the Ball exercise, Zahra Jafarova (25.850 points) won Gold, Kamilla Seyidzade (23.400 points) Silver and Shams Agahuseynova (23.800 points) Bronze.
In the Ribbon exercise, Zahra Jafarova (25.100 points) and Shams Agahuseynova (24.500 points) each won Bronze medals.
Our gymnasts also showcased outstanding performances in the Clubs exercises. Azada Atakishiyeva (25.100 points) won Gold, while Kamilla Seyidzade (25.900 points) secured silver.
The Senior Group Exercises Team impressed with their performance, winning a Silver medal in the 5 Hoops final with a score of 23.000 points. In this event, the Hungarian team took first place, while Georgia finished third.
In the individual Hoop exercise, Ilona Zeynalova (25.800 points) won Silver, securing second place.
On the second day of the competition, our gymnasts continued their success, stepping onto the podium three more times. In the Senior Team ranking, Zahra Jafarova and Ilona Zeynalova won Gold. Additionally, Zahra Jafarova finished second in the All-around with 76.100 points. In the same program, in the Junior Age Category, Shams Agahuseynova and Azada Atakishiyeva secured second place in the team ranking.
Over three days, spectators enjoyed the graceful and captivating performances of gymnasts representing 16 countries. Soon, the Milli Gimnastika Arenasi will host two more International Rhythmic Gymnastics events. In April, fans can look forward to the World Cup, followed by the European Cup in early May.
