During the refreshing days of the Novruz holiday, the National Gymnastics Arena hosted the artistic gymnasts, as gymnastics fans gathered to witness the 28th Azerbaijani Championship in Artistic Gymnastics on March 24-25.

A total of 53 gymnasts showcased their skills in the competition, representing "Ocaq Sport" Club, Baku Gymnastics School, Republican Complex Sports School, Ganja-Naftalan, "Grasiya" Sports Club, "Zirə" Cultural Center, and Sumqayit.

In the championship, both young gymnasts born between 2008-2010 and senior athletes born in 2007 and earlier competed in the individual programs.

The gymnasts from "Ocaq Sport" Club and the national team in group exercises presented their off-competition routines in 5 ropes and 5 balls (for juniors), as well as 5 hoops, 3 ribbons, and 2 balls (for seniors).

Athletes from Australia and Mongolia, who were in the country for training camps, also performed their off-competition routines, entertaining the audience with interesting performances.

The local and foreign gymnasts' diverse and elegant routines brought the audience delightful moments, supporting their performances with enthusiasm.

In the juniors' all-around category, Nuray Əhmədzadə from Baku Gymnastics School celebrated her victory. The following places were taken by "Ocaq Sport" Club's gymnasts Şəms Ağahüseynova and Fidan Aladinova, who secured 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.

In the senior category, the gymnasts also performed with high professionalism. The girls tried to deliver flawless performances to earn the judges' favor. Ultimately, the experienced gymnast of the national team and "Ocaq Sport" Club, Zöhrə Ağamirova, won the all-around title. Her clubmates Alina Gözəlova and İlona Zeynalova took the 2nd and 3rd places on the podium, respectively.

Winners were also determined in individual events and in separate apparatus (hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon) for both age groups.
