On September 9, Gymnastics for All festival dedicated to the 20th anniversary of reestablishment of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) was held at the Seaside Boulevard (behind the Azerbaijan State Puppet Theater building). About 200 athletes including 23 teams from our regions with the members of our National Team and representatives of “Ojaq” Sports Club participated in the festival, which aimed to promote Gymnastics among the population, encourage a healthy lifestyle and effectively organize leisure time.
The event began with a march in of participants from the territory of “Deniz Mall” to the area behind the Azerbaijan State Puppet Theater building. 
After the official speeches of the representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and AGF, athletes in this Gymnastics discipline demonstrated their colorful performances to the music enjoyed by the guests and residents of our city who came to National Seaside Park. At the festival, there was presented a video dedicated to the 20th anniversary of reestablishment of AGF and Gymnastics for all. 
Exhibition performances were presented in Breakdancing, flashmob held together with the audience caused great interest of the viewers.
It should be mentioned that according to the international regulations, each participating team is awarded with a medal in Gymnastics for All competitions of this kind. At the end of this festival, AGF’s medals and diplomas were presented to 23 teams (7 Gold, 8 Silver, & 8 Bronze medals).
Gymnastics for all, which is a non-competitive Gymnastics discipline with great popularity in the world, is one of the newly developing sports disciplines in Azerbaijan. Everyone can be engaged in this Gymnastics discipline regardless of age, appearance and physical skills. The first National event in this Gymnastics discipline in our country was considered to be a fairy-tale performance organized on New Year’s Eve in 2010. At the Opening Ceremonies of major international competitions held in Baku since 2014, our representatives amaze the participants with their colorful, stylish and mysterious performances.
There are two FIG events in this gymnastics discipline: the World Gymnaestrada and the World Gym for Life Challenge which are held at four-year interval.
With the participation of Azerbaijani gymnasts at the 15th World Gymnaestrada held in Helsinki (Finland) in 2015, “Gymnastics for All” was officially included into the AGF activity. 
The National Team of Azerbaijan participated in the “World Gym for Life Challenge” event for the first time in 2017 (Vestfold, Norway). Our Team, performing among 47 small groups, was included in the list of 6 groups which won the Gold medals and achieved the right to take part in Gala. 
In 2018, at the 1st “European Gym for Life Challenge” held in Liège, Belgium, our group won the Gold medal and was awarded with a diploma in “Best Costume” nomination. Our representatives successfully performed at the competitions held this year. Thus, the Azerbaijani “Moonlight” Team was awarded with the Silver medal at the “European Gym for Life Challenge” festival held in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, on July 10-14, 2022.
