Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation named the Best Federation of 2023

On December 26, the Ministry of Youth and Sports held a gala ceremony dedicated to the sports achievements of 2023. The event, which took place at "Buta Palace," brought together leaders of sports organizations, federations, media representatives, athletes, coaches, and members of the sports community.

In his speech, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov stated that 2023 was a successful year for Azerbaijani sports. He congratulated federation leaders, athletes, coaches, and the entire sports community on this achievement. The minister also extended his best wishes for the upcoming New Year and the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day, expressing his hopes that 2024, an Olympic year, would bring even greater success to Azerbaijani sports.

Following this, the award ceremony took place, recognizing the winners in various categories based on a three-stage survey.

2nd place – National Gymnastics Arena

3rd place – Men's Tumbling Team

Additionally, among the athletes who finished 2023 in the top 10 of the ranking list were members of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Group Exercises Team, Zohra Agamirova (Rhythmic Gymnastics), and Nikita Simonov (Artistic Gymnastics).
