The members of our national team, Ivan Tikhonov, Nikita Simonov, Samira Gahramanova and Milana Minakovskaya, who represented our country at the World Championships in men's and women's artistic gymnastics held in Liverpool, England, have completed their performances.
Nikita Simonov showed the best result among our representatives in the execution of the movement with rings. He finished the world championship in 11th place.
The new element presented by our national team member Nikita Simonov in the execution of the rings in the competition of the strongest was approved by the FIG Technical Committee for men's artistic gymnastics. It should be noted that according to the rules for men's artistic gymnastics, if any original element previously presented at the world championship that has never been performed before is flawlessly performed by an athlete during the competition, that movement is named after the athlete.
