The Opening Ceremony of the FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Cup takes place

The Opening Ceremony of the FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Cup AGF Trophy was held at Milli Gimnastika Arenası (National Gymnastics Arena) in Baku on February 12.
Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mariana Vasileva spoke about the development of Trampoline and Tumbling disciplines in Azerbaijan in recent years, emphasizing the attention and care shown to sports at the state level in our country. Only three months ago, Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) hosted the 35th World Championships and World Age Group Competitions in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling. On behalf of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, M.Vasileva wished success to the participants. 
A member of the Technical Committee of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), Technical Representative of the competitions - Tatiana Shuyska greeted the gymnasts and wished them success. She emphasized that she was pleased to see Indian and Iranian teams’ members newly joined to the World Cup. The Technical Representative expressed her gratitude to the Local Organizing Committee of the World Cup and all volunteers for their hard work in organizing the competitions at a high level. 
It should be mentioned that the FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Cup AGF Trophy will be held on February 12 & 13 at Milli Gimnastika Arenası.
52 athletes from 13 countries are participating in the competition.
There will be held the Qualifications on the first day of the competitions, while the second Qualification among men and Finals (women & men) will be on the second day of the events. It should be mentioned that the second Qualification is held if there are more than 31 participants in the Trampoline Gymnastics competitions within the new Olympic cycle. There are 16 or 24 participants in the second Qualifications, depending on the scale of the competition and the number of participants.
In these competitions, Azerbaijan is represented by the member of the National Team - Seljan Mahsudova.
