The medal thrill from our acrobats was followed by the medal news from our jumpers. The Azerbaijani gymnasts successfully participated in the competition held in Turkey.

Seljan Mahsudova, Magsud Mahsudov, Huseyn Abbasov, Mehdi Aliyev, Ibrahim Mustafazade and Ammar Bakhshaliyev took part in the Turkish Championships held in Izmir on October 1-3.

By demonstrating flawless performance among seniors, Seljan ranked 1st. Magsud Mahsudov, who performed among 13-14-year-old gymnasts, did not miss the leadership and took the 1st place. Mehdi Aliyev, who competed within the same age group, became 7th in the final.

Magsud, Mehdi and Huseyn won the Silver medals in the team competition among 13-14-year-old gymnasts.

Another medal was won by Ammar competing among 10-12-year-old gymnasts. The Azerbaijani gymnast ranked 2nd in this competition.
