The 29th National Championship among Age Categories in Rhythmic Gymnastics has come to an end

So, the second Gymnastics competition in Tartar has come to an end. Compared to the Interregional Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics held in 2022, there has been a significant increase in both the number of athletes & spectators at this competition. On June 28-29, in two-day competitions, gymnasts in the Individual program competed in the Age Categories of Youngsters (born in 2016, 2015, 2014), Pre-juniors (born in 2012-2013 & 2011) and Juniors (born in 2009-2010). Athletes in Group Exercises, competed in the Age Categories of Youngsters (born in 2014-2016) & Pre-juniors (born in 2012-2013).
At the competition, each participant achieved success. Among the gymnasts, there were those experiencing their first major competition, repeating their success from previous competitions, and others, who gained experience for future competitions even if they did not win medals. At this national competition, little gymnasts learn that friendship is more important than victory. At the same tournament, athletes who showed their preparation in front of the judges were mostly supported by their training fellows. However, our athletes did not experience the thrill of competition alone. Their parents were here to support them, witnessing the moments of preparation for the competition, which required patience and perseverance, and walking with them on this path. Regardless of the outcome, it was pleasing to see parents proud of their children & appreciating their efforts. During this event, the efforts shown by the coaches helped our gymnasts to perform their subsequent routines with fewer mistakes.
This Championship was also a friendly gathering of various sports communities, all with the same goal to help the gymnasts, who will proudly represent our country on international arena, to progress. The fact that representatives from different sports communities are nurtured with the same values is a testament to the unifying power of Gymnastics.
At the two-day competition held in Tartar Olympic Sports Complex, a total of 130 athletes from Ganja Olympic Sports Club, Specialized Children-Youth Gymnastics School of Olympic Reserves (BGS), Republican Complex Sports School (RCSS), “Ojaq” Sports Club, “Ojaq” Sports Club (Hovsan & Zagatala sections), “Kur” Olympic Sports Center, Shaghan Olympic Sports Complex, Zira Cultural Center, Shamkir Youth Centre, Shirvan Olympic Sports Complex, Absheron Olympic Sports Complex, Aquatic Palace and “Grasia” Sports Club demonstrated their talent.
