The second day of the Rhythmic Gymnastics European Cup has come to an end.

On the second competition day, senior gymnasts performed individual routines with separate apparatus. Medal ceremonies were held for the ball and hoop events in this category.

In the ball routine, Arina Kovshova (AIN 2) took first place, Sofia Raffaelli (Italy) placed second, and Vera Tugolukova (Cyprus) finished third. In the hoop routine, Taisiia Onofriichuk (Ukraine) won first place, Arina Kovshova (AIN 2) took second place, and Darya Varenich (AIN 1) secured third place.

In addition, cross-battle competitions were held among junior group teams. In the quarterfinal stage, the following matchups took place: AIN 2 – Azerbaijan, AIN 1 – Türkiye, Israel – Ukraine, and Georgia – Bulgaria.

In the final, AIN 2 took first place, Bulgaria finished second, and Israel placed third.

The competition will continue tomorrow with the qualification stage in the senior category.
