The 31st National Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, taking place at the Baku Olympic Sports Complex from 4 to 6 August, has officially started.

Nearly 50 gymnasts representing the Baku Gymnastics School, Ocaq Sport Club, the Zabrat branch of Ocaq Sport Club, the Republican Complex Sports School, Grasiya Sports Club, and Zira are taking part in the championship.

Athletes in the pre-junior, junior, and senior age categories are competing for national championship titles in the individual programme. Over the course of the three-day competition, the gymnasts will demonstrate their skills with the hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon, as well as compete in the all-around.

The championship aims to provide young athletes with valuable competitive experience while contributing to the continued development and promotion of rhythmic gymnastics in Azerbaijan.
