On May 11, an event entitled “Healthy life is the result of healthy sports” was organized at the Children-Youth Development Center No.3 under the Ministry of Education.
Within the framework of the event, members of the National Team in Rhythmic Gymnastics - Zeynab Hummatova, Silver and three-time Bronze medalist of the European Championships, winner and Silver medalist of the World Cup held in Baku on April 22-24, and Zohra Aghamirova, winner of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games, two-time Silver medalist of the Summer Universiade, participant of the Tokyo-2020 Summer Olympic Games met with children.
The purpose of organizing the event was to form a culture of safe and healthy lifestyle in children, to promote physical development.
During the meeting, the girls had a very sincere conversation with the children and answered their questions.
Rhythmic gymnasts also gave their recommendations to the students, mentioning that the sport is a means of demonstrating the symbols of independent Azerbaijan and promoting it in various countries around the world. They wished success to the active youth of the center in their future endeavors.
