On December 28, tree planting action was held on the territory of Khojasen Lake with a participation of employees of the Ministries of Youth & Sports and Ecology & Natural Resources, athletes and volunteers. 
The action was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports - Farid Gayibov, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources - Mukhtar Babayev, Olympic and World Champions, as well as socially active youth.
Representatives of the Rhythmic Gymnastics National Team - Zohra Aghamirova and Arzu Jalilova also joined the tree planting action.
The participants of the action emphasized that regular tree planting events were important for nature protection and improving the ecological situation in our country.
During the action, about 1000 “Eldar Pines”, Oriental Platans and Olive Trees were planted on 1-hectare territory in accordance with the climate of the Absheron Peninsula.
