The Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) has launched the registration process for its “Volunteers Program – 2023” in connection with the organization of international gymnastics competitions to be held in Baku in 2023.
Selected participants of the Volunteers Program will have the opportunity to serve as volunteers at these prestigious international events. They will enhance their language skills, gain practical experience, and acquire valuable knowledge in the organization of sports competitions.
To ensure high-quality performance of volunteers during the events, pre-competition trainings and seminars will be organized. These will cover topics such as the organization and rules of gymnastics competitions, an introduction to the different disciplines, as well as familiarization with the service areas of the National Gymnastics Arena where the events will be held. Volunteers will also be trained in the specific responsibilities of their assigned service areas.
Volunteers will be engaged in various departments including event organization, media and press services, accreditation, spectator services, translation services, award ceremonies, transportation, and more.
In 2023, volunteers will have the chance to participate in events such as the Trampoline & Tumbling World Cup (February 18–19), Artistic Gymnastics World Cup (March 9–12), Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup (April 21–23), and the Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships (May 17–21), as well as other international and local competitions organized by AGF.
