On the first day, there were held Qualifications of the 28th FIG Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships in Baku. Men’s and Women’s Pairs, Mixed Pairs (Balance and Dynamic exercises), Women’s Groups (Dynamic exercises), Men’s Groups (Balance exercises) demonstrated their performances in Qualifications. 
Our Silver and Bronze medalists of the European Championships within Mixed Pair in Balance exercises - Aghasif Rahimov and Raziya Seyidli took the first place (28.760) and qualified for the Finals. 
European Champions among juniors within Men’s Pair in Balance and Dynamic exercises – Daniel Abbasov and Murad Rafiyev took part in the competitions. Our athletes took the 3rd place (27.520) in Balance exercises, while they ranked 5th (26.600) in Dynamic exercises. They reached the Finals in both exercises. 
Our Mixed Pair in Balance exercises – Sabir Aghayev and Mehriban Salamova became 8th (26.890) at the Qualifications.
