This time, the excitement of a local competition unfolded at the Baku Olympic Sports Complex. The venue brought together the strongest gymnasts of the capital during the 28th Rhythmic Gymnastics Baku Championship.
The event saw participation from 110 athletes representing various clubs and institutions, including “Ojaq Sport” Club (Baku and Hovsan branches), the Specialized Olympic Reserve Children and Youth Gymnastics School (BGM), the Republican Complex Sports School, “Grasiya” Sports Club, the Water Sports Palace, Zira Cultural Center, as well as athletes from Zabrat and Shagan Olympic Sports Complexes.
The audience was captivated by the elegant and vibrant routines performed to delightful music, showcasing the perfect harmony of strength and perseverance.
Competing in the age categories of Juniors (born in 2013, 2014, and 2015), Pre-juniors (born in 2011–2012) and Youngsters (born in 2008–2010), the gymnasts impressed spectators with programs full of graceful yet challenging elements. It is no secret that today’s young gymnasts, who demonstrated a victorious spirit on the Baku carpet, are the future professionals set to shine on the international stage.
Over the three day event, winners were determined in individual All-around and apparatus finals according to their respective age groups.
