The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) has summarized the results of the Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championship held in Guimarães, Portugal, from September 19 to 22 on its official website. Notably, Azerbaijani representatives made history by winning 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 3 Bronze Medals. "This was an excellent day in the history of Azerbaijani gymnastics. The Mixed Pair Raziyə Seyidli & Ağasif Rəhimov and the Men's Pair Daniel Abbasov & Murad Rəfiyev demonstrated leadership by being crowned champions twice. This is a significant achievement for Azerbaijani acrobatic gymnastics. The athletes who excelled in Mixed and Balance exercises also won Bronze Medals in Dynamic exercises. The Men's Group secured Bronze Medals as well, resulting in a total of four medals for the Azerbaijani national team in just one day. This marked the team's strongest performance at the Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championship. Overall, the country won eight medals" - stated the FIG website.
