Ahead of the World Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships in Guimarães, Portugal, the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) has evaluated the chances of Azerbaijan's representatives. FIG specifically highlighted the Mixed Pair of Aghasif Rahimov and Raziya Seyidli, who are European champions in this discipline and are now aiming to conquer the top of the world stage.
"Rahimov & Seyidli have already stood on the podium at the World Championships, but they have yet to claim the gold medal. They are fully focused on victory" - the International Federation stated on its official website.
It is worth noting that another Azerbaijani Mixed Pair, Milana Aliyeva and Sabir Aghayev, will also compete at the World Championships in Portugal. Additionally, the Men's Pair of Murad Rafiyev and Daniel Abbasov and the Men’s Group consisting of Rasul Seyidli, Riad Safarov, Seymur Jafarov and Abdullah Al-Maşaykhi will join the battle for medals.
