An Azerbaijani gymnast Aliya Garayeva has become the two-time silver medalist of the World Cup series held in the capital of Uzbekistan.

According to the press service of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, the national team’s leader “began to stamp medals” from the final with a ball where she showed a quite high result close on 29 points, losing only 0.1 points to a Russian Alexandra Merkulova who won the first place.

As it is generally known, the appetite comes with eating and Garayeva demonstrated “mirror” result in the next final with clubs.

According to specialists, summing up Aliya’s latest results, there are grounds to believe that she intends to prove her high reputation at the European Championships to start in 10 days.
