Ganja successfully hosted the European Championship

From November 9 to 11, the ancient city of Ganja hosted the European Championship in Aerobic Gymnastics juniors and U15.

The competition, held over three days at the Ganja Sports Palace, brought together 380 gymnasts from 20 countries who competed for the continental title. On the first and second days of the event, gymnasts performed in the qualification rounds in individual, trio, group, mixed pair, and aerodance programs. The second day also featured the awarding ceremony for the team competition.

On the final day, the gymnasts who stood out in the finals won the title of European Champion.

This prestigious event was held in Ganja for the first time, and gymnasts’ parents and supporters from across Europe came to cheer for their athletes. Delegations visiting Ganja were deeply impressed by the city’s rich history, beauty, the hospitality of its people, and the delicious local cuisine.

Participants and delegations highly appreciated the conditions and organization provided in Ganja.

Thus, Ganja added another remarkable page to its sports history. The city is remembered not only for its historical and cultural heritage but also as a modern and hospitable host of international sports events.
