The World Cup series and international tournament in rhythmic gymnastics with the participation of Azerbaijani sportswomen has come to an end in Kiev.

As the press service of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation reports, the best result was shown by an Azerbaijani group team. According to the results of two performances, Jeyla Guliyeva, Ayelita Khalafova, Sabina Abbasova, Anastasiya Prasolova, Stefani Trayanova and Yevgeniya Zhidkova took the 4th place after the teams of Italy, Belarus and Ukraine.

As to separate finals, our girls also won the 4th place in an exercise with 3 ribbons and 2 hoops. And the composition with 5 balls brought the 7th place to the team.

In individual competitions, Zeynab Javadli became the 10th, and Anna Gurbanova became the 12th. A Russian Darya Kondakova won a victory in the all-around, and a Ukrainian Alina Maksimenko took the first places in three of four finals.

As to the tournament among juniors, Gulsum Shafizada (born in 1998) became the 10th, and Laman Hajizada (born in 1999) – the 17th. Another world Cup series will be held in Corbeil-Essonnes this weekend (May13-15). Aliya Garayeva and Samira Mustafayeva will set out for France.
