An Azerbaijani gymnast Anna Gurbanova has become an all-around winner of the international tournament held last weekend in Croatia.

According to the press service of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, she took the lead over all her rivals in an individual all-around and occupied the precious middle place on the podium between the second and third prize-winners.

“I demonstrated a good performance and my coach is content with my execution of all four exercises. The competitive year is coming to the end and I think this year’s last tournament for me will be an international tournament in commemoration of Gorenkova to be held in Omsk next weekend but not the 4th round of the Italian “Serie A” Championship where I performed with 2 apparatus last time,” Gurbanova said.

As to our other gymnasts, Aliya Garayeva will perform at the final round of the Italian “Serie A” Championship in Turin on December 4, and Samira Mustafyeva will possibly set out for the international tournament in Slovenia.
