The year 2024 was marked by remarkable achievements for Azerbaijani gymnastics judges. During the Intercontinental Judges’ Courses held in Lausanne, Switzerland, our representatives attained high categories in various gymnastics disciplines, making history for our nation.
For the first time, Azerbaijani judges were achieved Category 1 in Rhythmic Gymnastics, Tumbling and Trampoline Gymnastics. This is a milestone event in our national gymnastics history and a testament to the professionalism of our judges at the international level.
Rhythmic Gymnastics

Organized by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) during each Olympic cycle, these courses are designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of international judges. Participants in the courses:
Learn new rules and guidelines,
Evaluate gymnastics routines through practical sessions,
Pass challenging exams to achieve the highest results.
The categories of judges determine the level of competitions they can evaluate internationally, with Category 1 being the highest status awarded only to selected judges.
