A conclusion of gymnastics disciplines events of the 1^st European Games will always be remembered with a splendid performance of an Azerbaijani gymnast Marina Durunda – the leader of the National Team in Rhythmic Gymnastics. Having perfectly executed exercises with a graceful apparatus – ribbon – to the music of a great Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli “Fantasy”, she won the silver medal.

With her last performance, Marina made happy the spectators who supported her in the course of Euro-Games and had been waiting from her the thing, she achieved in her last routine.

Our gymnast, tender and elegant in appearance but having strong character, also performed in the finals with a hoop and a ball. 

Along with rhythmic gymnasts, acrobats of mixed pair and women’s group competed in as well. The women’s trio, consisting of Aynur Huseynova, Lala Huseynova and Narmin Ramazanova stopped a step away from the medal after execution of balance exercise and became the 5^th in dynamic one. A mixed pair – Uliana Diakova, Anatoly Leonov – having performed dynamic and balance exercises, took the 5^th and 6^th places accordingly.

Summing up the results of events of the 1^st European Games in gymnastics disciplines, the Azerbaijani National Team won 7 medals – 1 “gold”, 3 “silver” and 3 “bronze”.
