There was completed the national events season with the competitions in Men`s and Women`s Artistic Gymnastics, Acrobatic and Aerobic Gymnastics held in Sumgayit.

 The joint events in four gymnastics disciplines took place at Sumgayit Olympic Sports Complex on November 15 & 16.

The competitions in Artistic gymnastics were held with a participation of 44 male and 39 female gymnasts on November 15. They competed in the age categories of “minors”, “youngsters”, “children’, “pre-juniors”, “juniors” and “seniors”.

Next day – on November 16, 50 acrobats and 57 aerobic gymnasts competed for the medals. The representatives of Acrobatic Gymnastics competed in the age groups of “children”, “pre-juniors”, “juniors” and “seniors” within Mixed Pairs, Men`s Pairs, Women`s Pairs and Men`s Groups and Women`s Groups. The aerobic gymnasts demostrated their performances in the age categories of “youngsters”, “children”, “pre-juniors”, “juniors” and “seniors” within Individual Men and Women programs, Trios, Groups and Aerodance teams.

In the course of 2-day competitions, the gymnasts represented Baku Gymnastics School, “Ojag Sport” club, Nizami Sport School No 13, Sumgayit Olympic Sports Complex, Specialized Children-Youth Sports Chess School No.1 of Olympic Reserves of Sumgayit City Branch of “Tahsil” Republican Sports Center, “AyUlduz” Club, as well as Shabran and Balakan regions.
