In November, Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) will host the World Championships in one more gymnastic disciplines.

Thus, the organization of the 35th Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships (November 18-21) and the 28th World Age Group Competitions (November 25-28) was authorized by the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

It is planned to hold these events without the participation of spectators in accordance with the special quarantine rules and sanitary-epidemiological requirements in our country.

It should be mentioned that the World Championships to be held in November will be the second Worlds hosted by Milli Gimnastika Arenasi this year. Last May, during the pandemic, the Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships and World Age Group Competitions were successfully organized with the relevant authorization of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In order to minimize the spread of COVID-19 among members of delegations including athletes, staff, media and other people involved, the govermental quarantine rules, as well as the guidelines of the International Gymnastics Federation during the COVID-19 pandemic were applied. In addition, interviews with gymnasts were organized online to minimize human contact during the competition, and drones were used to present medals.
