This time, the city of Cairo (Egypt) gathered together Aerobic gymnasts. Our country was represented by the members of the Azerbaijani National Team - Vladimir Dolmatov, Madina Mustafayeva, Aylin Aliyeva, Dilara Gurbanova, Sanam Kazimova, Khadija Guliyeva, Leyla Bezhanova, Arzu Aghayeva & Sara Alikhanli.
Vladimir Dolmatov & Madina Mustafayeva won the Gold medal within Mixed Pair among seniors. Having left behind all his rivals, Vladimir became the Champion in the Individual program. Madina won the Bronze medal in the Individual competition.
Leyla Bezhanova, Arzu Aghayeva & Khadija Guliyeva (among seniors) and Dilara Gurbanova, Sara Alikhanli, Sanam Kazimova (among juniors) mounted the first step of the podium in the program of Trio. Sanam Kazimova was awarded with the Gold medal, while Aylin Guliyeva grabbed the Silver medal in the Individual program among Juniors.
