MISSION IS ACCOMPLISHABLE – PART 2

Azerbaijani masters of a rope and a hoop have managed to repeat the last week’s success at the tournament in Russian Vladimir, i.e. to be head and shoulders above their rivals in Dutch Utrecht as well.

According to the press service of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, a junior quartet consisting of Aliya Pashayeva, Irada Ahadzada, Mansura Mehdiyeva and Madina Hasanova renewed their medals’ collection with other gold ones. It should be mentioned that this is a new group of 4 gymnasts preparing for the European Championships to be held in Bremen (Germany) next year.

Bundes-Euro-2010 will become one of the important events for a senior group collective as well.

After the team being left by Vafa Huseynova and Valeriya Yegay who finished their career, the Azerbaijani national team’s head coach Mariana Vasileva shuffles the composition before each competition, checking a new candidate’s professional suitability to the team. And it yields its fruits – Jeyla Guliyeva, Anastasiya Prasolova, Stefani Trayanova, Jamila Huseynova, Nigar Abdusalimova and Ayelita Khalafova won the first place as well.

“While a bad weather is raging in Europe, especially, in Holland where a snow cover increases daily, Azerbaijani gymnasts showed splendid results on New Year’s Eve,” M. Vasileva noted. Please add Lala Yusifova’s gold and Jala Garatova’s silver medals won in the tournament of gymnasts born in 1995-96 to both group teams’ victories and then remember my words that the mission is accomplishable and its second part has already taken place at the international tournament in Holland on December 20,” the national team’s head coach summed up.
