The third day of the 35th Trampoline Gymnastics World Championship has concluded.
Today, the semi-final competitions for the men's and women's individual trampoline events took place, and the finalists who will compete tomorrow have been determined. Additionally, the winners in the tumbling track for women, men's double mini-trampoline, and synchronized trampoline events for both men and women have been decided.
In the women's tumbling track, the strongest gymnast was Kayleigh Megan from Great Britain. The silver and bronze medals went to Lucy Tumouan from France and Tatchina Peters from Belgium, respectively.
In the men's double mini-trampoline event, Vasily Makarski from the Russian Gymnastics Federation became the world champion. Diogo Kabral from Portugal and Ruben Padilla from the USA took second and third places on the podium, respectively.
The final competitions in the synchronized program were held for both women and men.
In the women’s synchronized event, the new champions were the Chinese duo Yi Cheng Hu and Xinxin Zhang. The pairs from Japan (Narumi Tamura and Hikaru Mori) and Portugal (Marianto Nunes and Beatriz Martins) took second and third places, respectively.
In the men’s synchronized trampoline competition, the Belarusian duo Oleq Ryabtsov and Andrey Buylu became world champions, surpassing the German pair Fabian Vogel and Matias Pfleyderer (second place) and the French pair Coşua Faruk and Pyer Quzu (third place).
The next final competitions, as well as the team all-around events, will determine the last champions of the championship.
It is worth noting that tomorrow, our representative Mikhail Malkin will compete in the final of the tumbling track.
