Today, our team completed its performances with 8 medals at the International Artistic Gymnastics Junior Tournament held in the capital city of Hungary - Budapest.

What a nice coincidence that on the eve of the Republic Day, promising and young gymnasts of our National Team managed to listened to our national anthem twice at Budapest's Gymnastics Arena.

Samad Mammadli was one of the gymnasts who won most medals for the team. Our representative won the “Gold” for exercises on Pommel Horse, “Silver” on Vault and “Bronze” on Parallel Bars. One more Bronze medal was won by our gymnast in the All-Around.

Another bronze medal came from our athlete Javidan Babayev for his routine on Rings.

Our athlete Ramin Damirov did not fall behind his teammates and won the Silver medal on Rings and Bronze one in the All-Around in his age category.

Aghamurad Gahramanov’s performance on the Horizontal Bar enabled him to mount the second step of the podium.
