There were held the World Cup events in rhythmic gymnastics among group teams in Nizhni Novgorod, Russia on April 26-27, 2008.

Our country was represented in this tournament by a group team of Azerbaijan in rhythmic gymnastics. Along with our country, group teams of Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Israel, Ukraine, North Korea and Finland also took part in these events. Our collective took the 5th place with 5 ropes and 7th place with 3 hoops and 4 clubs. In the all-around, our national team took the 4th place after Russia, Belarus and China.
