Proud moments in Portugal

The Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling World Cup, held on July 4–5 in Coimbra, Portugal, has successfully concluded, with Azerbaijani gymnasts delivering impressive performances across both trampoline gymnastics and tumbling.

In the trampoline gymnastics final, Magsud Mahsudov scored 61.440 points to finish 7th. In the men's synchronized trampoline event, Magsud Mahsudov and Huseyn Abbasov claimed the bronze medal.

Azerbaijan also celebrated outstanding success in the tumbling competition. Mikhail Malkin secured the gold medal with 32.300 points, while Tofig Aliyev secured the bronze medal with 29.300 points. The silver medal was awarded to Portugal's Vasco Peso.

On the same days, Azerbaijani gymnasts also achieved remarkable results at the Coimbra GymFest international tournament.

In the individual trampoline event, Magsud Mahsudov won the gold medal, while Huseyn Abbasov earned the silver medal.

In the team tumbling event, Aleksey Karatashov, Bilal Gurbanov, and Huseyn Asadullayev claimed the gold medal.

In the individual tumbling competition, Bilal Gurbanov added another gold medal to Azerbaijan's tally, while Aleksey Karatashov took the bronze medal. Sanan Rzazada also captured the gold medal, while Asnad Niftiyeva and Khadija Mammadzada each earned silver medals.
